Day 01 | Giza Pyramids | The Great Sphinx | Valley Temple of King Khafre | Saqqara Step Pyramid

  • Breakfast: At your hotel.

  • Visit to the Giza Pyramids: Great Pyramid of Khufu, Pyramid of Khafre, Pyramid of Menkaure.

  • The Great Sphinx: A statue of a lion with a human head, representing Pharaoh Khafre and guarding the pyramids. The sculpture is famous for its mystery.

  • Valley Temple of King Khafre: A mortuary temple associated with Khafre’s pyramid, used for mummifying the pharaoh.
  • Saqqara Step Pyramid: A pyramid built for Pharaoh Djoser, with six superimposed mastabas, located in the Saqqara necropolis.
  • Return to the hotel in Giza or Cairo.
  • Meals: Lunch: During the tour at a good restaurant.

Day 02 | Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo, Khan El Khalili

  • Breakfast: At your hotel in Giza.
  • Egyptian Museum: Visit the museum, which houses one of the largest and most complete collections of Egyptian antiquities, including the treasures of Tutankhamun.
  • Coptic Cairo: Visit the Hanging Church and the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus, historical sites of Coptic Christianity.
  • Khan El Khalili: Exploration of the famous market, one of the oldest in Cairo, perfect for buying souvenirs.
  • Overnight: Return to the hotel in Giza for overnight stay.
  • Meals: Lunch: During the tour at a good restaurant.

Day 03 | Citadel of Salah El Din, Mosque of Muhammad Ali, Mosque of Sultan Hassan, Al-Rifai Mosque & Mosque of Ibn Tulun

  • Breakfast: At your hotel.
  • Citadel of Salah El Din: Built in 1176, it was the seat of Egyptian rulers for 700 years. An important historical attraction in Cairo.
  • Mosque of Muhammad Ali: Built in 1848 within the Citadel, it’s famous for the alabaster marble decorating its walls. It contains the tomb of Muhammad Ali.
  • Mosque of Sultan Hassan: A large mosque built between 1356 and 1363, commissioned by Sultan Hassan, famous for his eccentric expenditures.
  • Al-Rifai Mosque: Built between 1869 and 1912, located opposite the Sultan Hassan Mosque, with a large minaret and decorated dome.
  • Mosque of Ibn Tulun: One of the oldest mosques, famous for its spiral minaret and courtyard surrounded by arcades, dating back to the 9th century.
  • Overnight: Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
  • Meals: Lunch: During the tour at a good restaurant.

Day 04 | Alexandria | Pompey’s Pillar, Catacombs, Qaitbay Citadel

    • Breakfast: At your hotel in Giza.
    • Transfer: Departure from your hotel to Alexandria by private air-conditioned vehicle.
    • Visit to Pompey’s Pillar: Built in honor of Emperor Diocletian, 26.85 meters high, with sphinx statues.
    • Visit to the Catacombs: The largest Roman cemetery, with tombs, statues, and archaeological remains.
    • Visit to Qaitbay Citadel: An important fortification built on the remains of the Lighthouse of Alexandria. Photos in the outer courtyard.
    • Lunch at a local restaurant.
    • Overnight: Return to the hotel in Giza for overnight stay.
