Itinerary

Day 01- Luxor Arrival – West Bank – Esna Sailing

  • Meet and assist on arrival in Luxor (train station / airport)
  • Visit Valley of the Kings – (visit 3 tombs, excluding Tutankhamun).
  • Visit Temple of Hatshepsut – the only female pharaoh’s mortuary templee
  • Photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon – Two massive statues of Amenhotep III.
  • Transfer to Esna & check in to Dahabiya.
  • Lunch on board or on the island.
  • Start sailing towards El-Hegez & enjoy a village walk.
  • Dinner & overnight on board Dahabiya
  • Meals: Lunch – Dinner

Day 02 - El-Kab – Edfu Temple

  • Breakfast while sailing to El-Kab (ancient Nekheb).
  • Visit temple remains & cliff tombs.
  • Continue sailing to Edfu
  • Horse carriage transfer to Edfu Temple, the best-preserved temple in Egypt, dedicated to Horus
  • Evening sail to a small island near Edfu for overnight mooring.
  • Dinner & overnight on board Dahabiya
  • Meals:Breakfast - Lunch – Dinner

Day 03 - Besao Island – Gebel El-Silsila

  • Breakfast on board while sailing to Besao Island
  • Besao Island for a countryside walk & view of local fishing life.
  • Continue sailing to Gebel El-Silsila – narrowest point of the Nile with rock-cut shrines.
  • Evening sail onwards & moor near an island for the night
  • Dinner & overnight on board Nile Cruise
  • Meals: Breakfast - Lunch – Dinner

Day 04 - Kom Ombo – Daraw – Nubian Village

  • Breakfast on board while sailing to Kom Ombo
  • Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to Sobek & Horus the Elder.
  • Visit Daraw village & local markets.
  • Continue sailing to Nubian village El-Koubania near Aswan.
  • Dinner & overnight on board Nile Cruise
  • Meals: Breakfast - Lunch – Dinner

Day 05 - Aswan Highlights – Departure

  • Breakfast & check out from Dahabiya.
  • Philae Temple – Sanctuary of Isis, last temple of ancient Egypt.
  • Aswan High Dam – Modern engineering marvel creating Lake Nasser.
  • Transfer to Aswan airport / train station / hotel
  • Meals: Breakfast
